Sajjala Iron & Steel, manufactures low cost high quality sponge iron, the perfect raw material for production of high quality steel; steel with superior combinations of properties, which has the hardness of an alumina ceramics, the strength of carbon based fibers, a corrosion resistance superior to nickel based super alloys, weldability and weld properties superior to cobalt based Stellites, and higher strength to weight ratios than titanium alloys.
We have 2*100 TPD coal based Sponge Iron units near Bellary. Our goal is to integrate upstream mining industry and the downstream power generation and steel making industry by putting up induction furnace using latest technology. This ensures that our product quality, flexibility and ability match the best of world standards. Our advanced quality control and automation/process control facilities ensure our products adhere to international quality standards.
Steel currently occupies a pre-eminent position in modern society because of the abundance and low cost of iron, its main constituent and its low life cycle costs with minimal environmental impact and ability to be recycled. Management
S Divakar Reddy (Chairman)
Intelligent and shrewd, he brings to his job a refreshingly new style of thinking. He has during the course of his career interacted with government agencies, worked with local tenders and identified distribution channels in new markets.
A post graduate in Geology with specialisation in stones and minerals and vast experience in stone industry, he is also the Chairman and Managing Director of R R Stones (P) Ltd and has been instrumental in making R R Stones (P) Ltd, a vibrant and a successful granite export
company. He also worked for 5 years with A P Mineral Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh and is well-acquainted with the intricacies of Granite Exploration, Quarrying and Export.
His many years spent working with a wide variety of companies gives him a diverse industry network and make him a strong and ideal person to guide the company on its growth path. With an excellent track record in successfully organizing many major path breaking initiatives in granite and sponge iron sectors, he brings to his job, a unique and personalized approach.
S Sandeep Reddy (Managing Director)
He is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the Company with general responsibility and charge over the technical and administrative operations. He coordinates the activities of the various divisions and is responsible for the formulation and implementation of policies and procedures.
S Sandeep Reddy possess strong communication, organizational, financial and supervisory skills. His strong leadership skills have been instrumental in ensuring that the company is a well-run, sustainable organization. His inputs into organizational strategy, budgeting, staffing, and logistics of the Company have been invaluable.
S Nishita Reddy (Executive Director)
Well-qualified, young, energetic and technology savvy, she brings a dynamic approach to her job. A graduate in Computer Science Engineering, she has revitalised the company's fortunes by introducing new ideas, methodologies and technologies in Information Technology and Communications. She is responsible in modernising the company's plant and introducing the latest technologies in various aspects of business.
She is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the various branches of the company including Marketing, Technical and administrative operations. Her strong leadership and communication skills have been instrumental in evolving the company into a techno-savvy Organization.
Ramasubba Reddy (C E O)
A postgraduate in Applied Geology, he possess diverse experience and skills sets in the fields of prospecting and exploration of different minerals, conceptualisation, implementation and management of mining projects and mineral based industries. During his long chequered career, he distinguished himself in various posts and implemented several noteworthy measures.
In 1971, he joined as Assistant Geologist in the Department of Mines and Geology, Government of Andhra Pradesh. Subsequently, he joined another wholly state owned corporation, A P Mineral Development, as Geologist. By dint of hard work and impeccable performance, he rose in the organisation hierarchy and held posts such as Chief Geologist and General Manager, before retiring as Executive Director in 2003.He brings to his post, high quality technical expertise and extensive experience in managing client relationships.
